Peoples spend on sunglasses throughout the summer months is huge and what people decide to buy is influenced heavily by what celebrities are wearing. Has anyone else noticed a lot of people this summer seem to be wearing round glasses? I have! This year we have seen many celebrities wearing round glasses, we have seen this on the catwalk to many top celebrities wearing their favourite round glasses designer around town. So of course everyone else has jumped on the bandwagon. Elton John and John Lennon made round glass famous years ago as well as many other famous people wearing them over the years

Designers have of course followed these trends. Police sunglasses meet the demand by stocking a wide variety of designs including round glasses and last year’s Ray-Bans. A big difference in todays market is the ability to get prescription glasses with designer looks! Police glasses offer a lot of their designer glasses with prescription which is letting more people wear designer sunglasses. Its not just designers who are targeting these trends the high street is playing a big part probably even more than the designers in allowing the general public to look like their favourite celebrities for only a couple of pounds.

Personally dont quite see the fascination but not to worry Im sure there will something even cooler just around the corner for all the hype to start again.

So now that you have some good excuses for buying some sunglasses, you now have to make the decision as to which pair to buy. Now that’s the most complicated part.

Just like when you have to choose normal eye glasses, the decision starts with the shape of your face. Generally, people sit in one of two face shapes, either round or oval. A round face is where the width and length of the face are very similar and generally, round faced people are aware that they have a round face. As for the other shape, oval, this is where the height of your face is longer than the width.

Once you have chosen which face shape you are, you can then make a decision as to which shape sunglasses you should get. If you think you have a rounded face then you would be best off with a rectangle or square frame. If you are a rounded faced person then you are limited by the range of designers as some don’t make square or rectangle sunglasses.

If you have an oval face, the entire range is open to you as anything will look good. You are not limited to just square ones, you would be able to get away with wearing big curved glasses, or even small square glasses because anything will suite your face shape.Police sunglasses or possibly a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.

There are a couple of other face shapes that you may fit into if you don’t see yourself as an oval or a circle. If you believe that you have a heart shaped face then you would be best suited to the thin rimmed aviation styled sunglasses. Finally, if you think you have more of a square face then you want to head for some glasses which are more curved as you already have plenty of angles on your face.

Hopefully you will use this information for the better when you go to buy your next pair of sunglasses. Just remember, despite paying alot of money for the sunglasses, it doesn’t mean that they give enough protection for your eyes. Make sure that the glasses come with a sticker on them stating how well they are protecting your eyes.
